Quality traditional pasties
We make a selection of very high quality Cornish pasties using the traditional 3 vegetables, potato, onion, swede (turnip), and diced skirt or minced beef.
We skillfully butcher the beef and prepare the local vegetables to our high standard.
The pastry we make is a shortcrust, rolled flat, filled with the vegetables, seasoned, topped with steak, seasoned again, rolled over and crimped to one side, glazed, holed and cooked till golden – `ansome!
Available in small, medium and large hot or cold whatever you prefer.
High Meat Content
Once again like all out products they have a high meat content surpassing the minimum being 12.5% for a “Cornish pasty” (6% for just a pasty!!!). Our meaty pasties have been subject to a random secret shopper test, run by Cornwall County Council – The results showed a 21% Steak content!
Ever since the Cornish miners had their pasties dropped down the mines to them there has always been a variation on fillings ask anyone! Its a good conversation piece and we are no exception we offer – chicken, pork, cheese all with the three veg or how about a savoury cheese & onion? Not forgetting vegetable on its own.
Customers have made special requests like – minted lamb,steak with kidney,steak with liver, corned beef and parsley, breakfast pasties to name a few, why not give us a ring or call in to see them made!
Orders taken daily, parcels made up for collection, our pasties have been enjoyed all over the world, suitable for home freezing you can take them home and enjoy them when you like, give them as presents! Better than a postcard and healthier than a stick of rock when on your hols!!
